Herzmaschine
Herzmaschine is an augmented reality project inspired by Fritz Lang's Metropolis, in which the machine at the heart of the city functions as a vital organ, holding everything together and treated almost as a deity.
Servers are the silent core of our digital lives, storing thoughts, memories, and identities. Like the Herzmaschine in Metropolis, they keep everything running, consuming energy, data, and human attention. In return, they predict our behavior, shape what we see, and influence what we desire.
When the poster is scanned, a pulsating visual appears alongside a rain of data, generating words that reflect the logic of the system behind the image.
